ISO/TS16949 Quality Management System
ISO/TS16949:2009 is the technical specification of the international automotive industry. It is based on ISO9001 and incorporates technical specifications for the automotive industry.
ISO/TS16949 is a technical specification for the international automotive industry with a clear focus on its applicability and applicability: this specification applies only to automotive OEMs and their direct spare parts manufacturers. These manufacturers must be directly related to the production of automobiles, can carry out processing and manufacturing activities, and through this activity, the products can add value. There are strict restrictions on the qualifications of the certified company manufacturers.
ISO/TS16949 pays special attention to the finished product of the manufacturer and the quality system capability to achieve this finished product. It believes that this is the basis of the entire manufacturing process. Another feature is that it pays special attention to the effectiveness of an organization’s quality management system.
In response to the ISO9001:2015 quality management system, the standard was updated in 2016 as IATF16949:2016. Its full name is “Quality Management System—Special Requirements for the Implementation of ISO9001 for the Production and Related Service Parts of the Automotive Industry”, English name is IATF16949
TS16949 initial certification time is October 30, 2012, expired on October 29, 2015, changed the certification body from Tianxiang to SGS, cancelled on November 13, 2014, SGS issued a new certificate on 8th, February , 2015, expired and updated audit on 1st,February,2018, revised TS16949 into IATF certification, will expire on 31th,January 2021
